The mortuary department provides body storage and facilitates burials. The department provides the following services:
Receiving bodies
- Issuing bodies
- Post mortem
- Incineration
- Pauper burial
Days and times for Postmortem
Postmortem is mandatory for every suspicious death
- Forensic Postmortem: Monday and Friday from 8 am – 12 pm
- General Postmortem: Monday to Saturday from 8 am – 12 pm
Body collection
- Children from 1 day old to 10 years: Mother or Guardian to be present for identification and must bring his/her ID and the burial order.
- Adults: Immediate relatives to bring ID and the burial order.
